Hula's Bar was a highlight of my trip to Waikiki. Whether it was a lively Saturday night out, midweek drink or a relaxed lunch with beach views, the atmosphere was always fantastic. The staff were exceptionally friendly, quickly remembering my face and order despite how busy the venue was. The crowd was diverse, the energy vibrant, and the sense of community unmistakable. Hula's is a genuinely inclusive space where everyone can enjoy great drinks, music, and dancing. It's easy to see why it's loved by both locals and visitors. My only regret is not spending more nights here. An absolute must-visit in Waikiki.
Chelsee, Joey and Andy made our experience so amazing. My sister and I arrived here for vacation and they made us feel so welcomed. Our suitcases are literally still at the bar. We don't even want to check in! Live music is also so amazing
This place is absolutely fabulous. Music is fire. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and A GREAT VIBE! We are staying in the hotel above so we have visited a few times so far and plan to go back plenty more. Chelsee was especially amazing. We visited her this morning at opening and then my boyfriend and I went on a boat ride and came back ENGAGED. What a fun place to celebrate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
My wife and I visited as part of our 25 year wedding anniversary celebration. The staff were so welcoming, the drinks were great and reasonably priced, and the food was delicious. The music is great and a nice change of pace from what you'll typically find in the rest of Waikiki - much more upbeat and fun. It instantly became a favorite and we can't wait to go back.
Hula's Bar & Lei Stand was where our wedding week got loose in the best way. This Waikiki institution is iconic for a reason, and it was the perfect spot to let our hair down with friends and family, with that unbeatable view, strong drinks, and a dance floor that called our names. Derek and the team were welcoming and took great care of our group from the moment we walked in. The vibe was electric, the staff was fun, and it gave our crew exactly the kind of carefree island night you hope for around a wedding. If you're looking for a legendary good time in Waikiki, Hula's is the move. We'll be back every time we're on island.
