The food was fantastic and nicely priced! Recommend the bonsai mango ribs, lollipop lamb chops, and ahi! Shout out Chef Allen Lopez! Great for happy hour, girls night out, date night, really occasion! Drinks are all Gatsby themed, we loved the Across the Bay! Such a vibe inside and out, with a stage and private rooms. Excited to see what this space turns into! Street parking is limited but there is a deck across the street.

Went with large group with outdoor seating. The happy hour tacos are $2, and some random simple drinks are cheaper. We had an outdoor seating. The bartender was extremely nice and she was very attentive and helpful. The live music is indoors, but they play the music on speakers to the outside and there are screens to watch the musician perform. Outside, a lot of people were smoking (cigars mainly) and so it got pretty hazy for me. I think the vibe is pretty good for group settings though. Hard to get a reservation here though - make sure to book in advance early.

Absolutely incredible atmosphere! You have patio, bar, stage and private rooms to choose from. That's just the start. The food is delightful as well as an incredible drink menu with high class bartenders. Workplay offers live music as well, which is always a special touch to the dining experience. Last but not least, the staff from hostess to kitchen staff and bartenders were all communicating and meshing as a collective team to create success during a very busy evening crowd.

This is a nice place. They have a good amount of outdoor seating in a comfortable space. I haven't tried most of their food, just snacked on some appetizers. We tried some street tacos and chips n salsa, both of which were good. The cocktails are great and they also had some good beer and wine options. It seems pretty popular, but if you get here early, it is a pretty quiet spot to relax a bit.

A nice start for a an incongruous restaurant / bar /lounge in the middle of the more industrial part of Kakaʻako. Seems like it’s trying to find its identity. Its wine list had a selection of hidden gems, like the Fattorio Moretto Lambrusco sparkling dry red wine from Italy (cheers to Kermit Lynch) and big brand names that one would expect, but it was disturbing to see a few of the names & regions misspelled. Same thing for spellings / accents on the menu. Anyway. Definitely a long cocktail list & also has $$$ bottle service (?!). Food was good, that’s for sure. My ahi tatki well prepared, lightly seared, a modest portion, elegantly presented. I enjoyed the salad of fresh, shaved daikon and cucumber in a light soy sauce-based seasoning underneath the tuna. My partner’s salmon was also delicious; the flavours melded well, with its creamy sauce on top and sautéed summer squashes. Products were fresh, and flavour combinations were well thought out. Staff seemed young and inexperienced, but enthusiastic, kind and ready to serve. Live music, guitar and trombone duo, was playing the Sunday evening that we were there. Lovely outside patio seating, and thankfully, when there is recorded music being played, it’s not too loud, so it’s possible to talk. Parking can be tricky, unless you park in the parking garages in the area. It’ll be interesting how this place evolves. Visited early May 2024.
