This place is amaaazing! I love that they offer a guest list, so you don’t have to worry about paying a cover fee. If you book a table, you’re guaranteed a great spot to settle in and enjoy the night. The service is super quick, the bartenders are fantastic, and the energy is always on point. The vibe feels so real and alive. On top of that, they host incredible special guests and drag shows that make every visit unforgettable. I would 100% recommend this place if you’re in Honolulu. ✨🌈
Velvet is hands down one of the most fun spots to go out. The energy is always on point, the crowd is great, and the bartenders truly make the experience. Everyone behind the bar is friendly and brings the vibes, but special shoutout to Bruno — I was so happy to see him back behind the bar. He’s always welcoming, fun, and genuinely makes you want to stay for another round. 10/10, honestly the main reason I keep coming back.
Only positive thing have to say is doorman is super friendly, i accidently put extra money in cover fee he returned it, i told him tip jar. In bar, i dont know rules, the tables look squared off, for big spenders, theres no where to sit, even at bar. I assumed it was gay bar but it look like straight bar, lights of girls dancing behind dj, dj wasnt talking either, taking requests? Who knows, looks unapproachable unless he says so. Bar staff didnt check on me after 1 drink, thats their business, but they werent, after 1 drink i just left, but its just my first time here from canada, my first impression.
Bouncer wouldn’t accept my wife’s real id. Said it’s too small and whoever made it did a bad job. She was so excited to go to this place and this guy didn’t even think we are 18. We are 22. Man bun bouncer loves using the tiny power he has in this world.
🌈 Velvet nightclub is my new favorite spot to party at on the weekends! The venue is clean, and has really great sounds and lighting. Their staff are all amazing as well. I always go and visit their bartender Shane, he’s the best!
