We interview three different builders before we made the right decision to build with Coventry Build on Your Own Lot. Coventry provided us with the right floor plan, expertise and value. They also allow us the flexibility to customize their floor plan to make changes that work for our needs. We are thankful for Drew's professionalism and expertise from the first time he answer our call until the time that he handled us our keys. We appreciate that our project manager and builder, Tim, keep us informed as each stage of our build progress move forward. We appreciate that he was able to completed our home way before target time frame. We thank Coventry that they have a process set that allows them to deliver a great finished house. We will definitely recommend anyone to consider them for your new home. We thank everyone in their staff for helping us build our forever home

I purchased a brand‑new home from Coventry Homes in May 2025. Within the first few weeks, I began noticing structural issues such as interior cracks, exterior brick separation, and signs of foundation movement. I opened a warranty request immediately and spent the next ten months trying to work with Coventry to understand the cause and obtain a clear resolution. During this time, Coventry involved multiple engineering and foundation companies, but each provided different findings. I was never given a unified, licensed‑engineer‑stamped remediation plan. Several important engineering documents, including a pre‑closing engineering report from March 2025, were not shared with me at the time of purchase and were only provided months later during the warranty process. Coventry attempted to schedule discussions around a contractor‑generated pier layout involving 50–60 piers and tunneling under the slab, but they did not provide the engineering basis, root‑cause analysis, or success criteria needed to evaluate such a major repair. I escalated the matter through certified mail, leading to delays in some documents and inconsistent communication. After nearly a year of trying to resolve the issue directly, I filed complaints with the Texas Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. I’m sharing my experience so future buyers can be aware of what I’ve encountered and make informed decisions

I just got the keys to our new home. The process was smooth from start to finish. Although our sales rep left company in the middle of the project, our new rep Drew made the transition very smooth and painless. Chris was our project manager and his attention to detail was incredible. He delivered a house and home for us to start the new chapter of our lives. Both Drew and Chris updated us every week and kept us informed of everything taking place. This house is the third time we have built a house (second time with Coventry) and has been by far the easiest and most painless. This can only be due to a strong team, Drew and Chris who made sure we got a beautiful home. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for competitive pricing, quality, beautiful designs but most of all functionality. Hopefully you get lucky to get Drew and Chris to help you build your new home.

We are extremely disappointed with Coventry Homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. 1 star is also more to give. After moving in, we discovered multiple drywall cracks throughout the house — including in the ceilings and corners. We contact them after 3 months of moving and it has been 1 years and no problems solved yet. We have drywall cracked on almost every corner of our home. They send one person and told him to fix one small side only. After we showed him our each corner cracks he left out saying he can fix only one spot. How can we choose one small side only. After that we didn’t get any reply and it has been 1 weeks. Those cracks were clearly visible and structurally concerning. In addition to the drywall issues, we’ve had persistent problems with cracked tiles and water ponding on the garage floor. These are not minor cosmetic issues but real construction flaws that should absolutely fall under warranty. Unfortunately, Coventry continues to deflect responsibility instead of standing by the quality of their work. Would not recommend Coventry Homes to anyone expecting a builder who stands behind their product.

We have built several homes before and this experience was the best one by far. Renee, Hunter and the Design Center team rose to the unequaled challenge of building a home during the COVID 19 situation. All of them went beyond the normal call of duty to make our home their top priority and to assure us during the building process that deadlines would be met, quality would be high and their promise of a beautiful home would be delivered. We were blown away with the final walk-through. The words thank-you do not fully convey the appreciation we have for them. You guys rock!
