I bought my home in late April 2021. It was not complete on the final walk through. Workers were present along with the builder. I was told my home would be finished the next day. We closed and I moved in. No one else showed up for about a month. My electrical box was not finished. I had no hot water for about three weeks. No power to my stove or microwave. I had no A/C for about a month. No shelves in my kitchen cabinets, a hole in one bedroom ceiling, my garage door is crooked and has difficulties closing, due to how my driveway is poured my garage gets flooded and now has mold again. I had to put in my own door knob and dead bolt on the storage room located in the back. Then I had to resist the door so that it would close and lock. My bathroom window is not painted. There is lots of over spray around my house. My house was left a mess. My A/C went out yesterday because a drain was not installed in my attics air unit. I had to suck out about 7 gallons of water. Lots of other issues with my home that have been addressed and not fixed. I know of two other home owners who bought from northstar builders and they too have issues with there homes still. They moved in in December 2020. I have been advised workers will show up and they don't. Very very frustrating. I will say most of my issues have been fixed. But my home has a long way to go before it is actually completed by the builder. I recommend not buying from this builder if the home is not completely built. Do not rely on promises that things will get done. It will take forever or it won't get done.
