He was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the cleaning process. Matthew Smith was the professional sent to clean my carpet. I say "professional" instead of carpet cleaner because that is what he was. Up front, he provided cleaning samples with different cleaning methods, products, and pricing. He was quite knowledgeable and very thorough with his explanations. I had initially intended to replace the carpet, but due to Matthew's excellent job performance, I don't have to! When I saw my carpet, I wanted cry. Matthew exceeded my expectations and now I don't have to worry about carpet replacement. Don't call another company-Choose Steam Master Cleaning in Houston, TX and ASK FOR MATTHEW SMITH!! I’m pleased to be able to write a 5 star review. Initially we had a scheduling issue but they straightened it all out in a very timely manner. I’m having the bedrooms with closets and hallway cleaned. The lead technician and his team arrived on time, are very professional as well as friendly, and transparent about measurements of the areas to be cleaned. When they parked in the driveway they were considerate of the other vehicles needing access as well. The cleaning van is a professional vehicle—no junky trucks or one man shows who bought a carpet cleaning machine and stuck it in his van. They are here now so I can report on how well the carpet cleaning went as soon as they are finished. Update: WOW WOW WOW I honestly never would have expected this much of a difference in the appearance of the carpet after cleaning. Look at the photo I took. You can see the literal line in the carpet from cleaned to not cleaned as they were working on it. A few spots where I had been crossing my fingers hoping they’d come out—they’re completely gone. This is after 20 years of no carpet cleaning! We are selling the house and I’m so relieved not to have to buy new carpet for these rooms.

Chase was exceptional. He is professional, helpful, and respected our home. He was even very kind with an excited 3 year old who kept getting in his way. He worked HARD - it was a big job, and he stayed till the very end. On a final and more personal note - I felt safe and comfortable with Chase in my home - which isn’t always the case with any stranger coming into your home. Excellent work. Just a great experience.
