Based on previous review ! I’ll attach a video of the BAD TASTE ENCOUNTER ! This is the 3rd encounter BTW! How exactly did we leave a bad taste in a “business owners “ mouth after every in-counter ? 1st encounter - drop off . Perfectly fine . Booked online & dropped the keys off . Perfect. Was offered a uber to work Informed from the jump of previous home repairs . Air was luke warm. (8am drop off ) 2nd encounter - picked up the vehicle . Paid immediately. Stated if we didn’t think it was to our liking bring it back . Air was luke warm. 3rd encounter- took the vehicle back. During attempted “repairs” the mechanic working on the vehicle stated “we pried, hammered , damn near did everything we could to get a particular car part off” but you’ll need additional repairs bc of it. Quoted an additional 2k bc of it. OWNER ACKNOWLEDGED THEY DROPPED THE BALL & should have said they should have just halted and contacted us to see the next steps . . Air is not working. HOT. Against better judgement after coming to an agreement & price we decided to allow them to fix the issue . Stated had to order parts and would take about 5 business days due to weekend closure. They OFFERED a loaner car at no cost! I have a vehicle and he has another as well sooo do what you will with that information . 4th encounter- Texted to advise car is ready . Invoice sent, paid IMMEDIATELY. Went to pick up the vehicle. Returned the loaner car on full and in the same condition it was provided. Entered the vehicle , sat on their property for 15 mins before re entering and stating it wasn’t blowing out appropriately nor was it cold. Went to the guy at the front office and he stated “oh wow this isn’t as cold as it was “ & we proceeded to drive to the Frankie’s parking lot just to see if it just needed a test drive . Arrived back at shop and I CALMLY explained that it indeed was colder but not as cold as it should be . He proceeded to get a thermometer and give me the temp. Cool. But if a car is on level 8 and you have to place your whole face to see if it’s blowing is an issue especially if you said it was fixed and gladly took the payment. He stated he didn’t have a point of reference on how it was blowing before hand , but the level was never in question upon drop off just the temp. Next excuse was it may now be a blower motor, but wasn’t sure . He then implied my cabin air filter may be too thick .. the same brand new one that was on the car encounter 1 ! The said mechanic who was responsible for the repairs acted as if he couldn’t validate my concerns, which I understand bc I don’t sign his paycheck. I PERSONALLY sat in the bay just awaiting a decent resolution, didn’t holler or act out . Didn’t even raise my voice , but to say that I put a bad taste in your mouth is BIZARRE. I asked one question that couldn’t be answered! I said would you send your wife or gf off in this car after said repairs . So yes as previously stated they just opted to give a refund to basically send us on our way . The contents of the dash were on the passenger side and all in the backseat of the vehicle . Scratches alongside the passenger side door panel. Washers under the hood and in the floor board of the car. The covers that cover the screws under the seat were just in the backseat . Despite the age of the paid off vehicle, or the lights on a the dash that shouldn’t even be a factor in your review response . We came to get an issue fixed and it wasn’t SIMPLE. It’s a review . No transmission codes nor HVAC codes populated until after said repair . There was another review on ac that was found after looking as well. All of them Won’t be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The energy in the response is so strong but no one even acted as if there was an issue until a review was made . & the same boastful, prideful energy wasn’t conveyed in person. But my review still stands .

I recently had my vehicle serviced at Davidson Automotive and was extremely impressed with the experience. From the very first conversation, the staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to explain the repairs that were needed. Their communication throughout the process was excellent, and they completed the work in a timely manner. I appreciated their honesty, attention to detail, and commitment to providing quality service. It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in their work. If you're looking for a trustworthy automotive repair shop with knowledgeable technicians and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend Davidson Automotive. I'll definitely be returning for future maintenance and repairs.

I think the guy at the front desk’s name was Joe. He was super hospitable. I’m from the low country and he reminded me of that southern hospitality that I’m used to. He was friendly and they gave me a free second opinion brake inspection because I came from Firestone and they quoted me over $1200 off the rip for some tie rods, rotors, and brake pads. I COULD NOT afford that but my brakes NEEDED to be fixed. I got a second opinion from Davidson and they quoted me $508 for the brake pads and motors. They didn’t see anything wrong with the tie rods. They showed me pictures of what they found and what was a safety concern and what could wait. They even gave me a complimentary uber to head back home at no additional cost. This is why I’m leaving a long review because times are really hard and it’s refreshing to know that there are still some businesses that actually care about the customer experience. I didn’t feel like another dollar sign walking into their shop like when I walked into Firestone. Also my car brakes SO SMOOTH now! No shaking and no scrubbing sound. Super grateful for Davidson! Wish I could’ve got the mechanics who worked on my car as well because I’m grateful to them as well and would’ve loved to name drop them as well!

I was having the worst day—my car broke down on the side of the road and I had it towed straight to this shop. From that stressful moment on, they made everything so much easier. The shop answered my call right away, calmly explained what they’d do once the car arrived, and kept me updated the whole time. They treated me like a friend instead of just another tow-in. No pressure, no scary upsell. They showed me exactly what was wrong, told me what needed to be fixed immediately versus what could wait, and gave me honest options. The repairs were done faster than I expected, the car runs better than it has in a long time, and the price was honestly reasonable—especially after a roadside breakdown! They’re easy to get to, have good parking, and were super flexible with timing. If your car ever leaves you stranded, you want these folks on your side. Real small-town service with big integrity. I’m so grateful and will definitely be back for all my regular maintenance. Thank you! 🙏

We had a great experience with Davidson Automotive! From the moment we called, the team was friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. They were able to get us in within 24 hours, which was a huge plus. Our SUV needed AC repair, and they completed the work quickly and at a very fair price. It’s not always easy to find an auto shop you can trust, but Davidson Automotive definitely delivered. Very pleased with the service! We’ll absolutely be returning in the future!
