Two days before I was to leave for a bus tour of Spain, I broke off my front tooth! The same afternoon, Dr. Rich made an Essex that would cover up the hole from the missing tooth for me to use on the trip. This was a long and complicated process and his assistants were not only incredibly competent, but also empathetic about the stress I was feeling. The next day, Dr. Lacy, my longtime dentist, called and said she had made another one with my actual tooth in it so I would have a back up if anything happened to the other one! She also arranged for me to have an appointment shortly after my return with Dr. Bre to begin the implantation procedure. Meanwhile, during the cruise, a crown came loose also on a front tooth!! Dr. Bre saw me at 8 am the morning after my return and spent about 3 hours with me! He She fixed the crown that had fallen off and then removed the root of the broken tooth and performed the bone graft to prepare for the implant. She had also made a flipper with a tooth that looks exactly like the tooth I broke off and I will wear this while the bone graft heals. Throughout the process, she explained what she was doing and what I could expect. Her amazing assistant, ALE, got me ready for the procedure and gave me very clear instructions for what I needed to do to over the next three weeks prior to the post op visit. I have been a patient of Dr. Lacy for nearly a decade. She has always been amazing. I described this latest episode in detail because I believe there is no where else I could have received such a timely and thorough response to my traumatic event of facing the prospect of going on a bus tour without a front tooth! I highly recommend the Pelican Landing Dental and Smile Rejuvenations practices.
Dr Bre and her assistant are so great! Very pleasant and professional. I have the best care for my implant.
First, let me say up front that when it comes to Dr. Bre, her assistant Alejandro, and the staff and facility, they're 5 stars + all the way. Dr. Bre is extremely skilled and knowledgeable, unflappable, and extremely kind and good-humored as well. I came in as a new patient with some complicated dental issues that needed to be addressed before an impending knee replacement surgery, and Dr. Bre handled them all expertly. She and Alejandro make a great team; he's excellent at creating temporary crowns - among many other skills - and the relationship between the two in terms of the way they flawlessly communicate with one another and show mutual respect is a pleasure to see. I also had my teeth cleaned by James at Pelican Landing Dental, and he did a very thorough job. Ironically, the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the constant bombardment of review requests! I had to have several appointments for this work, and at every stage I would immediately get multiple email requests for reviews since I didn't leave one upon the first request. I understand that this is part of our culture now, and many businesses want reviews. Also, they do serve an important purpose because so many consumers rely on them. However, I truly believe when patients are hounded to provide reviews and offered promotions to do it (like being entered in a raffle), it can leave or reinforce an impression with the patient that this is first and foremost a business, and "sales" are of utmost importance. Again, Dr. Bre is remarkable, and I want to leave this review because patients who are in need of, for instance, a dental implant, could do no better; in fact, I came to her due to a friend's glowing recommendation. However, I couldn't write an honest review without mentioning the one thing that is actually leaving a negative impression with me.
Amazing Dr and staff!!! Dr. Breanne Anderson is just superb. Very thorough and detailed. She presented easy to understand options for my dental needs. Great experience with front office and assistants as well. Glad I've found a great dental practice close to home.
I had such a great experience at Smile Rejuvenations of SWFL! Dr. Brea is incredibly kind, gentle, and explains everything clearly, which made me feel so comfortable during my visit. Alina, the dental assistant, was amazing, super attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. You can really tell they both care about their patients. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for a professional and caring dental team!
