Very clean and organized. The employees are very professional and friendly. I take several friends to their appointments. The pharmacy takes a while but it is well worth the wait. The employees there are courteous and friendly. The security guards are friendly and professional.

I went to visit with “Dr” Lateef. I thought it was going to be cool and I thought WRONG. She did not listen to any of my concerns. She TOLD me that I was a single mom with multiple children, no support, and no employment. She told me that means I have circumstantial depression. The crazy part is that I went in to get a referral to hematology. The crazier part is that all of her assumptions were wrong. I am a business owner with a warehouse in Spring. This is a clear example of how a medical professional uses preconceived notions that affect how a patient is treated. She was undoubtedly attempting to misdiagnose me which would have ultimately ended with me on incorrect medication for a condition I do not have. When I declined to accept her diagnosis she told me, “I am DOCTOR Lateef and if I say that’s what you have, that’s what you have.” I told her no thank you I do not want a referral to psychiatry, psychology sure, but psychiatry no. Just give me my referral so I can go. She gets up without any warning and calls security on me. I was shocked. I could understand if I was being belligerent. But because I don’t agree with your findings I deserve to be criminalized? If you have the option to pick a different doctor, you should. Great job Dr. Lateef. Great job. I’ll make sure everyone knows just how committed you are to your community!

I love Casa de Amigos clinic. I can’t complain about anything. From security guards, janitors, nurses, registration staff, and doctors: I was treated so well. I cannot sing praises enough to honor them. I am very grateful for all the staff employed at Casa de Amigos!

Yesterday my nephew had an appointment which I attended along with his mother because he has special needs and I am his caretaker. Upon arrival we got in line at which time an older hispanic woman got in line behind us. The older hispanic woman was called to the front desk by one of the registrars before we were although we were obviously in line and at the front of the line. At that time I spoke up and the registrar that skipped us just looked at me blankly without apology. We were helped by the next registrar, Angelica, and during this time seeing that we were Black she took it upon herself to mark my nephews ethnicity and race as White although his mother is very obviously a Black woman. I don't care what the registrar's personal biases are her job is to ask questions and record the information given to her by the client accurately. She failed to do that because she could not comprehend that a Black woman could give birth to a fair skinned child with light eyes. Check your racial biases and bigotry when you go to work. No one wants to deal with this nonsense in 2026. The morning after we are getting the run around to update his ethnicity and race information for a "mistake" that we did not make.
