Great experience at this emergency room. Took my father-n-law there about 9:00 pm and was immediately evaluated and put into a triage room. Evaluated more in the ICU room. Great staff and wonderful doctors.

My delivery experience at Houston Methodist Hospital was absolutely amazing. I will forever be grateful for all of the nurses and staff who took care of me and my family during such a special time. A special thank you to Izabella, my nurse throughout the night. She was incredibly sweet, kind, and compassionate. She went above and beyond to make sure both my family and I were comfortable and cared for. Even though she was called away to assist with a C-section and wasn’t able to be there for my delivery, I truly appreciate everything she did for me. I also want to thank another nurse whose name I unfortunately can’t remember. She was from the Bronx, New York, and she helped me through pushing during labor. She was so encouraging, caring, and supportive when I needed it most. Dr. Dr. Akintole was wonderful as well—very professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the entire process. There was also another nurse on my last day who regularly checked my blood pressure. She was tall, funny, had short black hair, and always brightened my day. She even told us we were her favorite patients! If you’re reading this, you know exactly who you are. Thank you for making my stay even more memorable. Overall, my experience at Houston Methodist was exceptional. The kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the staff made one of the most important moments of my life even more special. I highly recommend this hospital to any expecting mother. ❤️👶🏻🩷

I came in for an MRI feeling a little nervous, but from the moment I walked through the door, every single person I encountered made me feel completely at ease. Cassandra at the front desk welcomed me with such warmth, David was incredibly kind and attentive, Mike made the IV placement smooth and stress-free, and Kate and Thuy, the MRI techs, were absolutely wonderful — Thuy’s companionship was truly something special I must say — patient, gentle, and genuinely tuned in to how I was feeling throughout the entire process. They listened to me, checked on me, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I left feeling calm, cared for, and truly grateful. This team is a reminder of why compassionate care makes all the difference. Thank you so much! 🤍

My discharge experience at this hospital was unacceptable. I have significant mobility problems and was unable to safely leave on my own. Despite explaining that my wife was still at work and could not pick me up for several hours, I was discharged and sent to the lobby. I spent approximately four and a half hours sitting in the lobby while feeling weak, dizzy, and unable to walk independently. I felt abandoned and treated without basic compassion or consideration for my condition. Communication was also very difficult. When I needed help understanding and discussing my situation, I did not feel that adequate language assistance was provided. The most disappointing part of my stay was not my medical condition—it was the way I was treated at discharge. No patient with serious mobility limitations should feel left alone and unsupported in this situation.

My name is Richard, I would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at Houston Methodist West Hospital. On April the 10th I showed up at the hospital. I parked in the garage a on the 4th floor unaware of where I was going but I was having serious breathe issues, I couldn't breathe. I happen to run across a gentleman coming off of is 12 hour shift and asked him if he could help me, he Didn't hesitate. He grabbed a wheelchair, ran me across the sky bridge. through the hospital into the emergency room. Where I would met the man and women that would help save my life. This hospital is filled with people that love people. And love to help people and enjoy what they do for a living. I had the best nurses and doctors Helping me to restore my breathing and save my life. Some of them are young and if the future of medicine is in the hands of the people at this hospital that helped me the future is looking bright. I can only remember a few people's names, and I do apologize. I was blessed that I went to this hospital and receive the best care Anyone could wish for.
