Last fall, we started feeding a stray cat who eventually became pregnant. On Easter, she proudly brought her four kittens to our doorstep. Brooklyn was the runt of the litter. After weeks of multiple daily feedings and around-the-clock camera surveillance, we noticed she wasn't growing like her siblings. We worked with For the Love of Cats to have the entire family trapped, spayed/neutered, and safely returned to our yard. Although Brooklyn remained tiny, she was deeply bonded with her mother and siblings. Then, one Friday morning, my brother found her sitting alone in a neighbor's yard. Anyone familiar with cats knows they don't willingly let strangers pick them up, but Brooklyn did. We immediately knew something was wrong. After extensive testing, we were told she was showing signs of Fading Kitten Syndrome, or Failure to Thrive. I was in denial and believed she simply needed extra love and care. We brought her home, determined to give her a chance. Tragically, our beautiful baby girl passed away peacefully in her sleep that night. Faithful Companions was my first call the next morning. Cristian was patient, compassionate, and incredibly kind during one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced. We were never rushed and were given all the time we needed to say goodbye. We requested her fur, ashes, and paw print, and he went above and beyond by preserving clippings of every color in her coat and decorating her paw print with her name and a heart. Our baby girl is back home with us now. Thank you, Faithful Companions, for providing comfort and dignity as we begin the long journey of grieving our sweet Brooklyn.

Although I have experienced pet loss in the past, I've never had a pet euthanized or cremated. My 14 year old pup was rapidly declining and we were faced with euthanization. I had a lot of questions and uncertainty regarding cremation. I called Faithful Companion (Naples, FL) about 5 or 6 times. A gentleman promptly answered my call each time addressing my questions and offering me support. When the day arrived I was assisted by 2 gentlemen at Faithful Companion in Naples. These people have found their calling in life and I hope they know this! I was so distraught I don't even remember their names to thank them. They provided options but made selections simple/clear. They explained the process each step of the way. They gave us the time we needed. Faithful Companion provided me comfort in letting me walk in with my dog's body and walk out with her cremains. I will forever be grateful for Faithful Companion of Naples!

Chris brought our Bug back to us and I was so impressed by the respect and honor he gave to the weight of that moment. I didn't know what to expect, and frankly my broken heart hadn't given it much thought outside of having her home; the kindness of presentation he gave to Bug felt genuine and authentic - we felt like she mattered and that made all the difference. We will cherish her paw print forever and the engraved box is absolutely beautiful. We are so grateful to Chris. We loved Bug for most of her life and will miss her for the rest of ours. She was part of our whole world and for that moment, we felt like Chris understood that as he brought her home.

We have used Faithful Companions 3 times in the last several years. The staff is compassionate, caring and professional. They've had all 3 of our pets Outlaw, Whiskey and Cleo back to us the very next day.
