My husband and I have been working with Sam Mazzola for many years. We began investing through “The Mutual Funds Store” in around 2012 and continued through the transitions to Edelman Financial Engines. Sam has been very diligent and attentive to our personal financial situation and investment goals. He has managed my (and my family’s) mutual funds, my Roth IRA and enabled the effective conversion of my 401K and work retirement accounts to IRAs. He has explained each of these to me in detail and made the process transparent and easy. He has been instrumental in suggesting and optimizing investment details and investment balancing, as well as advising paths forward to retirement. It has been a real pleasure to work with Sam over the years, as he has always managed to find the time to meet in person rather than just remotely. This is very important.
Sam is a good listener and offers good advise on any concerns we may have. If he is not sure on something, he will investigate and get back to us. Sam is very easy going to work with.
