Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers are simply fantastic! Their Premiere of the new cantata The Witness was stunningly beautiful. They sing with a single voice of many colors - not only impressive but intensely human. I wasn't the only person in the audience with tears in my eyes. Magnificent!

The Ft. Myers Symphonic Mastersingers are our most phenomenal local choir who supports the community of Ft. Myers in many ways including through the Palms Youth Chorale and the Intermezzo Choir (an initiative to keep music in the lives of those suffering from Alzheimer's disease and dementia). The Ft. Myers Mastersingers will be celebrating their 20 year anniversary at their annual Gala this Nov. 20th, 2021. You are invited!!

I listened to John give an engaging and heartfelt presentation about his experience singing in a choir, sharing personal stories that highlighted the joy and connection it brings. His passion for music and group performance was clear and inspiring. He gave me a greater appreciation for the power of music and look forward to attending a future performance.

John does an incredible job explaining the power of music and memory. He shares how even in the face of dementia, when so much is lost, music remains — especially for those who were master singers or deeply connected to it. His insights are both moving and eye-opening. You walk away with a deeper understanding of how music touches the soul in ways that even memory can’t erase.
