In one of my darkest moments, they helped me get through everything in a timely manner without being overwhelmed with all the things I didn’t want. Extremely grateful for the compassion and kindness shown from everyone involved. EVERYONE I came in contact with was so kind and helpful. During one of the most difficult times in our lives, the staff at this funeral home treated our family with such compassion, respect, and professionalism. They handled everything with care and made a heartbreaking situation just a little easier to navigate. We truly appreciated their attention to detail and the kindness they showed us every step of the way. I’m so grateful we chose them to honor my dad’s life.
Shaige did a wonderful setup of my mom’s funeral. Everybody at Akin Davis funeral home was very kind and respectful. They also took the time to listen to everything I had to say and requested. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is dealing with a loss. They are very kind and careful with your loved one. Thank you so much Shaige and everyone at Akin Davis.
If I could rate this place a no star I would. The least compassionate people ever. Waited 2 weeks for our mother to be cremated and upon picking our mother up my niece was treated so wrong. My family took urns to them to place my moms ashes in and they bring our mom out in a box. Not even in the urns. My niece asked we the urns were amd the girl was rude and took the ashes back and had my niece wait for them. No care or compassion for grieving family. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Beyond heartbreaking and not ok to be treated this way. Basically they got paid and that was all that was important to them. Terrible terrible service. Zero stars!!!! Icing on the cake. I call to find out where the locks of hair from my mother are and Bethany information me that unfortunately there was miscommunication and we will not be getting the locks because they already cremated my mom. Shame on you and your company.!!!!!! Most unthoughful, non empathetic place ever.
The staff at Akin Davis were so thoughtful and accommodating with my husband’s arrangements. They were especially supportive and kind at a very difficult juncture.
