Several years ago I was back home visiting family with my daughter who had been wanting a dog so we went to GHS. My daughter and I met several puppies and decided on one that was labeled as a boxer. While doing the paperwork we were pleasantly surprised to find out that the fees had been paid forward by the previous adoptees who had to return her. It saved me about $500 and it was greatly appreciated. My daughter and I couldn’t think of a name when the volunteer asked what we wanted in the records and she said “Oh i’m sure you’ll brainstorm and think of one”. So in that moment “Storm” was officially named and adopted. She was a wonderful dog and my daughter and I shared many great memories with her over the years. Storm passed away a couple years ago after a wonderful life. My experience with GHS was first class. The facility was modern and clean and the staff was friendly and caring. Go adopt a pet or donate to Greenville Humane Society and make some lasting memories of your own or for someone else.

We brought our baby to the Greenville Humane Society for his neuter surgery and have also attended their vaccine clinic. The neuter clinic team was absolutely amazing. We dropped him off early in the morning and picked him up that evening, and his recovery has been incredible. As a nervous puppy mom, I was so worried when I left him there for surgery. But the staff was so caring, compassionate, and reassuring, and the facility was incredibly clean and well organized. It truly put my heart at ease. I am beyond grateful that he was taken such good care of. We will absolutely be returning for future vet visits. Thank you so much to the entire Greenville Humane Society team!

I brought my rescued cat here to be spayed, and the experience was excellent. The surgery was very professional—the incision was small, there was no bleeding, and she recovered quickly. Despite how busy they were during drop-off, the staff remained efficient and polite. I’m very satisfied with their professionalism and, most importantly, their services are very affordable."

I got my Ozzy boy in May of 2025 & have been taking him here for all vaccinations since. The staff was so kind & very informative. I took him to get neutered this week, so far so good! Not only did the vets tell me exactly what to expect, but the procedure was very reasonable price wise. I will be using GHS for all future visits / vaccinations! Thank you for all you do

We adopted our tuxedo kitten from here a few months ago and it was the best experience. Jackie helped us to visit some of the kittens and worked to help us pick the right one. We chose Bubie who has seriously been the sweetest kitty and so tolerant with my kids. He is part of our family now. We had a great adoption experience here thanks to Jackie!! Thank you!!
