The $20 breakfast was not worth it. No bacon, sausage tasted like a hot dog. Eggs dry. The window in our room was completely fogged. Couldn’t see out of it. No towel bar in BR. $5 charge to park daily was unnecessary. The pool was nice. The pool towels were extremely small.
My wife and recently stayed at this property. We were accidental guest originally registered for a Hilton property in Buckhead Atlanta. Unable to reach the original destination due to major event traffic. We we're able to make an emergency cancelation. Heading back to Richmond, VA we booked a room in Greenville, SC. We stayed additional nights. As a former full service hotel F& B director, GM and restaurant owner, I found the experience delightful. Over the course of our extended stay, I had the opportunity to interact with AM and PM front desk, cooks, bar staff and housekeeping. All exemplified the very best of customer service in the hospitality industry. Special thanks to Ms. Tina. Sincerely, Terry
Rooms don't get cleaned daily because they this is a business hotel. But.... My co workers room was cleaned and reset, mine was not. Why was I given a BS excuse by the front desk when all I wanted was coffee. With that said, the evening bar tender is an absolute sweetheart. Did a very good job.
Positives: front desk people, bartender, breakfast server, and room were all very nice and personable. Room was quiet and clean. Negatives: a drunk kitchen member stood at the front desk while checking in telling us to come to the bar, very pushy, he wasn’t rude and was nice but was clearly intoxicated and was mumbling and saying a lot of nonsensical things. I felt bad for the bar tender trying to manage around it. Next, there’s no sign that I could see indicating the breakfast is 17 dollars, and the breakfast is right by check out. Many places have similar breakfast buffets included so it’s very misleading. It was good, but no where near worth it for 17 dollars. While I was eating my 17 dollar breakfast, there was either a dog or a person who peed through the entry way to outside. This is not their fault, but when they cleaned it up it began to smell like I was eating breakfast in a public bathroom. I’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and this was not up to the standard. My hopes would be the cook gets help, and there would be transparent signage on the breakfast, and maybe consider some fresh cleaning supplies.
This was a nice location. The physical location of the hotel is good for accessing multiple stores, restaurants, and other things to do in the area. Rooms are standard, nothing crazy exceptional but not subpar either. Breakfast bar...well that falls far short. All week is the exact same items and all instant or poorly cooked. Bacon is insanely greasy, eggs obvious bulk "add water" specials and this is not included in all rooms. At a cost of almost 18 dollars each meal, (after tax) its 100% not worth buying. We never tried any made to order food, because to me if you cant get the basics... im not trust specialized. Gym was adequate as well as the other amenities provided. Note - You are charged daily for parking even if you do not drive (3 of us car pooled and all were charged $5 a day for a single car). I didnt not see this disclosed anywhere, nor were we told at check in, it was discovered after leaving and noticing it on the bill so.. 50/50 on this rating. All in all it was not a bad experience it was just middle of the road, but it was a business trip so....
