If I could give 0 that’s what they deserve Absolutely horrible experience – cost me my job I had a reservation booked here for two weeks, and I was explicitly assured multiple times—including the day before check‑in—that my room would be ready. I even called ahead to ask about early check‑in because I had to be at work by 8 AM. I was told to call the number on the door that morning and someone would check me in. Morning comes… 8 AM, no answer.
I called over and over—no response, no help, nothing. I was left stranded outside after being told everything would be taken care of. Because of this complete lack of professionalism and communication, I missed work and ended up losing my job. On top of that, their advertising is completely misleading. They make it sound like “pets stay free,” but that is NOT true at this location. In reality, Studio 6 properties often charge pet fees (sometimes daily or per stay), even though the branding makes it seem like pets are included for free 12. That’s straight‑up false advertising in my opinion. This place clearly has serious issues with basic organization, honesty, and customer service. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your booking, but when it actually matters, you’re on your own. Do NOT rely on this hotel for anything important.
If you need dependable service—or even basic communication—stay somewhere else.

The location has obviously deteriorated in the time since the Google photos were taken. It's clear that there's plenty of long term residents that they have issues with based on written and printed notes all over about trash or other things they are trying to tell the residents. Plenty of people were milling about in the parking lot smoking or relaxing. The staff seems over burdened, and we're arguing about leaks and urgent issues while checking me in. Front desk does not look like in the listing pictures. It's behind plexiglass and when not manned it has a metal rolling shutter to protect it. They have a large fee schedule printed at the front desk showing all the reasons residents can be charged which makes it seem like they have a large number of disputes that require compensation and charges. I was charged a $100 security deposit. There was a sherrif's business card left in the desk, probably from a recent problem. I was told the room I reserved wasn't available, but they switched me to another one. The hallways smelled very badly of cigarettes and dampness even though the building says no smoking. The room itself was fine. It was fairly run down, which we weren't expecting from the 3-star hotel rating and 3.9 Google review score. Got packed up to depart in the morning. There was a resident with dementia or something in the hall that was asking me for help to get into a room that might not have been his. The front desk was locked behind metal shutters, and didn't open at 9am like it said on the hours. I had to call a number in sharpie from the front door to get a hold of someone to send someone to man the desk so I could check out. I was told the attendant didn't know how to refund a security deposit, and that the manager would refund it later and it would go back on my card in five or so business days. The hotel exterior is run down. The grass is overgrown and weedy, there is trash in the parking lot and on the stoop. Lots of added signage for dealing with problems. Bushes are greatly overgrown and obscure parking spots. There were multiples signs warning people about being towed, or about the hotel not being responsible for break-ins, and to remove valuables from your vehicle. And their motel 6 grand opening sign is hanging in shreds over the front door.

I booked via hotels.com once I arrived with my child for a work trip, the grounds were very unkempt and didn't look like a nice place. It had "long term stay" vibes. I parked in the shade in the back of the building and some windows had plants in them, like it was a resident. At the entrance there's a cheap sign that says "now studio 6 suites". They hate to the service desk was closed with a handwritten note with a phone number to call for check in. I called and a woman only said they were booked up and to call hotels com for a refund. Because of my last minute "cancellation" they are only offering me half of my money back. I'm furious. I had to spend an additional $300 (plus) to book a different hotel last minute. If this isn't a scam, it's at least misleading as the photos and reviews were decent, but in person, not so nice. If it weren't for being financially screwed and possibly scammed, I'd be happy it didn't work out, as my new hotel is so much nicer for only $10 more per night. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE.

This is a nasty motel it smell like smoke. I had a bad experience there. The curtains smell like smoke and they were dirty. The bath tub was nasty ,the mattress don’t have a mattress pad on it and also the mattress had stains on it ,the pillow was flat. Cats all around the motel, people up all night talking and smoking. No security ,no one at the front desk to help with service.my keys didn’t work to get in I was outside for 5 minutes trying to get my key to work lucky a guest came out and let in.thus is the worse motel I ever been to.the stay was afford. Staying at the train would have been better.

Marwa (front desk) needs to be fire for stealing money..I was put out because I video the Greenville police doing something corrupt to another gentleman on arrest. Many of staff is corrupt stealing money. I FELT UNSAFE UP THERE...NO CAMERAS ON OUTSIDE Deposits are made up. There is only one maintenance person Ronald today. RONALD DOES GOOD MAINTENANCE WORK. THEY NEED ONE MORE maintenance guy. One cleaning lady that does not clean well. People steal your clothes out laundry room..God bless this location. Even if the staff is wrong, they will use police to put you out. I stayed there from January 2 2026 to March 19th 2026. Karoleen was ok..SHE is a little too young for management of a hotel. I mean she could only do what she can within Corporate reach. I don't know why they fired Melissa. Melissa was one of the better staff. The switch from extended stay America to Studio 6 has been terrible. Im expecting my refund from 19th to 31 of March soon. #rm216 #rm222
