Paid for new unit and duct work to add zoning. Approximately a month to get unit installed and another 3 months to have zoning and duct work completed. House never felt like it was appropriately cooling in the summer months. Changed internet providers and the technician advised the crawlspace duct work appeared to be shabbily done. Because I was traveling and fall temperatures didn't require HVAC usage, I put off climbing under the house to check. With temps dipping into the low 20s and the house not heating sufficiently finally crawled under to look. Attached pics (Not professional quality photos but clearly indicate the lack of attention to detail/quality in the workmanship) indicate a significant portion of my recent electric bills are going towards cooling/heating my crawlspace and not the house. In addition, installers never bothered to backfill the hole in the floor with foam, left a six-inch square hole in an interior wall and left trash and debris in the crawlspace. In light of the delayed execution and lack of work quality will be pursuing corrective repairs with another company. Would not recommend unless you have time and expertise to provide oversight for the workmanship.
I recommend this company for all your hvac work. He is very thorough and explains everything. You will not be disappointed.
We had our HVAC unit installed by All Comfort Control Heating & Cooling in April 2021, and the installation, specifically the duct work, was done improperly. Despite the 5-year warranty and their 24-hour service guarantee, the company has refused to take responsibility, reimburse costs, or even respond in good faith. We’ve had to spend more money on a second opinion and corrective work, and are now filing a complaint with the NC Attorney General’s Office. Poor service, poor accountability—would not recommend.
AVOID THIS COMPANY - SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS. We used this company when we first purchased our house in 2021. Our outside unit stopped working and they came out and serviced it. We bought their service package where they would come out in the summer and winter and make sure everything looked good. Well, after we bought it they never ended up coming for the summer service. Had to call and remind them.... They came out and serviced it. Right after that our unit stopped working again. They "fixed" it... It stopped working again. It actually started to short cycle, where it would come on for 15 seconds, shut off for 2 minutes, come on 4 minutes, shut off 10 seconds, etc. etc. They didn't think it was doing that so I had to record a 15 minute video of it happening before they agreed to come back out. When I called a third time about the same problem, the lady who answered the phone told me they had a note in our account that this would be their final visit because I keep calling them and they're having to come out for free. Well - I'm not going to pay when my problem isn't being fixed.... Fix the problem and I'm willing to throw money at you! So, for 3 years we dealt with our unit short cycling. We figured it's normal.... NOPE! Our unit quit working last night, we called an actual GOOD company "Drew Services, LLC", and they came out this morning and informed me that the previous dumdums from this company took insulation and set it on top of our condensation drain to act as a "cap." So the insulation got wet, went into our pipe and caused a blockage.... So we had to deal with a VERY warm house because "All Comfort Control" hires guys who think it's okay to use insulation as a cap to a drain.......... Why would this company not just put a cap on the drain? It almost feels like they were trying to cause damage to our property so they would be hired to come back out and fix it AGAIN and have us pay another $127 for them to clean out the condensation drain like they did Sept 13, 2021.... BBB will be hearing from me because that's absolutely WILD that this company would hire somebody that would do that to us.... Attached is the picture of the clumps Drew Services pulled out. I would attach the video proof of them pulling it out but Google isn't allowing me to.
We had a unit installed about 3 yrs ago, nothing but PROBLEMS ever since. I highly DO NOT recommend!!
