Reviews
While this isn’t my usual review of a happy hour hotspot, Josephine’s is a great place to head after. The live music brought energy, and Josephine herself ensured everyone had a great time. Sal was our server and the service was spot on. The eggplant rollatini and mussels were excellent. We had the fish special and it was incredible. A warm, classic evening spot with talented entertainment where guests can join in and dancing is not only allowed. It’s encouraged. At the end of an evening where we indulged in so much delicious food, we were treated to a shot of limoncello. Delicious!
We had our rehearsal dinner for 40 people at Josephine's and it was perfect! We had the private back room to ourselves, it was a little snug, but cozy and had an intimate ambiance. The service was outstanding, there were multiple waiters taking care of our party the whole night and making sure the drinks were flowing. We got so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was. I'm Italian and usually picky with eating Italian food out, but the food and dessert was amazing. We're very happy we chose Josephine's to have our rehearsal dinner and they really make you feel like family. It would be great if they could fix the TV though so you can display pictures/videos for your party.
My family has been going to Josephine’s Italian Restaurant for several years, and every visit has been consistently wonderful. It truly feels like a place where guests are genuinely valued. Josephine always makes a point to say hello when we arrive and personally thanks us when we leave, which adds such a thoughtful touch to the experience. The bartender and staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. They go out of their way to ensure you feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire meal. We often share appetizers, and the eggplant rollatini is my absolute favorite. They regularly offer fantastic specials, and everything we have tried has been delicious. For entrées, I usually order fish or pasta, and both are always prepared beautifully. When available, the three course prix fixe menu is truly a hidden gem and an exceptional value. The outdoor seating area is serene and inviting, making it one of our favorite places to dine when the weather is nice. Inside, the romantic Italian décor creates a Tuscany inspired atmosphere that feels refined yet cozy at the same time. Even my mom rides her bike there, and they happily prepare takeout for her. That kind of warmth and flexibility speaks volumes about how much they care about their guests. Josephine’s is a place we return to again and again.
We had a late dinner at Josephine’s for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is very nice with beautiful white tablecloth. Prompt and attentive service. The menu was good and some of us ordered a la carte while some had the 3 course prix-fixe menu. The food was delicious and the wait was very short. All 7 of us had a great time and enjoyed the dinner and the live music. I saw a few negative reviews, not sure about them because we really like the restaurant. The cost for a three course meal with drinks was about $70 p.p.
We went to see Alex sing and have a good meal but our meal was terrible. The pasta tasted like a jar sauce. I had branzino which tasted bad and the waitress was so bad. She left us sitting for 30 minutes after we have our credit card waiting to check out and she was annoyed when we asked for another bottle of water. Horrible horrible I will not go back The owner Josephine is not friendly at all. She did not welcome us nicely when we walked in and made us feel very uncomfortable
