Do not recommend. When you have billing issues no one ever calls back and they never reply to portal messages. When I looked at the bbb for them it seems it happened a lot to other people also. I initially had a dr that wouldn’t even reply when I told her the medication made me ill. The therapist told me she was going to send me paperwork on coping skills. Never got anything. After reminding her at the next appointment she apologized and said she’d send it then. Still nothing so I just canceled. The new dr I got was helpful, but now after my insurance changed I had to cancel with her and I’m being billed for an appointment I didn’t have. To think they run a place that is supposed to help with mental health, but in the end cause more trauma by not addressing their issues in a timely fashion. It’s been months without a call back. Beware!!

My experience with LifeStance Health was one of the most unprofessional and emotionally damaging healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. I sought help during an extremely vulnerable period of worsening depression and newly developed severe anxiety/panic attacks. Instead of being met with compassion or support during my psychiatric appointment, I was abruptly told I allegedly owed nearly $1,000 - despite having insurance, paying every copay on time, and never knowingly missing an appointment. I had never received a single phone call, email, letter, or billing notice regarding this supposed balance beforehand. When I questioned it, I was gaslighted and dismissed/invalidated rather than assisted. The conversation escalated to the point where I experienced a full panic attack during the session, shaking and crying, and ultimately had to end the appointment myself. Mental health providers should understand how damaging these kinds of interactions can be for patients already in crisis. After this experience, I did some research and was honestly shocked. A simple Google search reveals numerous public complaints, lawsuits, and controversies involving LifeStance Health related to billing disputes, alleged deceptive billing practices, and data privacy concerns. Patients deserve transparency, professionalism, empathy, and ethical treatment - especially from a mental health provider. While my therapist personally showed more compassion than the psychiatrist I dealt with, the overall experience with this company became so detrimental to my mental health that I chose to discontinue all services entirely. I sincerely hope the company reevaluates the way vulnerable patients are treated moving forward.

This is my first time seeing a therapist.. I must say Emily… has been great during our sessions, I’ve never walked in a session and she wasn’t smiling.. She is a good listener and gives feedback which I can incorporate in my daily life. I appreciate her relaxed demeanor which has helped me to feel more comfortable during my sessions. I have never had a problem with booking. Emily books my appointments before I leave.

I had a great experience with LifeStance Health. The staff was professional, friendly, and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. Scheduling appointments was easy, and my provider took the time to listen to my concerns and develop a treatment plan that met my needs.

I don’t always leave reviews for healthcare providers, but when a place makes mental health support feel approachable, organized, and genuinely helpful, you have to give credit where it’s due. LifeStance Health has been an incredible resource, especially when it comes to medication management. Having a medication management team on your side is one of those things people may not fully appreciate until they experience the difference. It is not just about prescriptions; it is about having professionals who listen, check in, help monitor what is working, and make sure you are not trying to figure everything out alone. That kind of support matters. LifeStance Health makes the process feel more structured and less overwhelming. From scheduling to communication to follow-up care, the experience feels designed to help people stay on track instead of feeling lost in the shuffle. Mental health care can already feel heavy enough, so having a team that brings clarity, patience, and professionalism into the process is a huge deal. Everyone deserves support that feels steady, respectful, and personalized. Whether you are starting your mental health journey, adjusting medications, or just trying to stay consistent with your care, having a medication management team can make a world of difference. LifeStance Health is doing meaningful work, and I truly appreciate the care, convenience, and guidance they provide. Mental health matters, and places like this help remind people that they do not have to carry everything by themselves. Stay supported, my friends.
