I had my first session with Courtnee a few days ago and I'm so glad to be working with her. She is so knowledgeable, experienced and empathetic. I look forward to all the future sessions with her. Everyone at Select Physical Therapy is so nice and welcoming.

I was called same day to reschedule as my therapist was sick, which is understandable. They rescheduled me for the next day at 7am with Isabel yet I showed up to be told I didn’t have an appointment and nothing is available for another 10 days. They couldn’t tell me who I spoke to, just that an appointment wasn’t made for me. I’ve already waited weeks for my follow up just to get even further delayed.

Hand Therapist Claire has been great. However, Sadie and the customer service ladies have been a nightmare to work with (my wife had her first appt with Claire and now will be seen for her back as well). I'm not sure if it's poor training, or no training at all, but Sadie has given my wife and me the wrong information on three different occasions. 1) First, she told us we could do hand therapy without a drs. referral for a month, and the day before the appointment, she called to say she was wrong, that we always needed a hand referral for hand therapy, so we had to reschedule. 2) Then, she told us that after meeting the deductible, our therapy sessions would lower from $80 to "around $15". We were later told by a different person that they would cost $50, instead of $15. 3) Even though Select Physical Therapy promotes a complimentary consultation on their website, she told me over the phone "No. We don't do any free or complimentary consultations of any kind." Then, another lady told me they do, but if you have insurance, they just have to run the consultation through insurance. Which also seems to be wrong according to their legal disclosure of the consultation: "*The complimentary consultation is not available for persons with Medicare or other federally-funded health insurance plans. However, if you are a Medicare or other federally-insured patient, please feel free to call to see if physical/occupational therapy can help you with any functional limitation. As always, please consult your physician to see if your specific medical condition is appropriate for physical, occupational, hand therapy or related services." We do not have medicare or other federally-funded health insurance, yet, we were denied with a different excuse for the complimentary consultation. It seems that while the therapists are great, the customer service team is an absolute mess. As a person with customer service experience, it is baffling to me that you would give a customer the wrong answer multiple times and not consult first.

On a cold day and with a broken wrist it took me two hours on the bus to get there just for me to walk in near noon and learn they canceled on me supposedly earlier that morning, saying they tried to call me even though I had no missed calls or voicemails, even reading my number back to me correctly (they also never had any problems cancelling on me all those three other times, yeah scheduling with them was a nightmarish mess). Even worse my weirdo therapist Courtney tried to cover for reception by lying and trying to gaslight me into thinking they called me, manically and repeatedly saying they called and that she heard the call and that they pride themselves on calling; dude I’m looking at my phone and there’s nothing; your girl forgot to call me, just fess up. During that talk one of the receptionist girls even made eye contact with me and looked away quickly and guiltily. So I had to take another two hours on the metro in the freezing cold to get back home. Never ever coming back here. Greedy, lying, fake, incompetent people. Asked my doctor to switch me over someplace else.

Very capable person did my 1st visit evaluation. However he did not share the evaluation with me. And an attempt to get it by email failed. I couldn’t access the website
