Our daughter has recently “graduated” from Therapy For Life after 2.5 years of attendance. The progress she has made in that time is INCREDIBLE & she is now gearing up to start Kindergarten with high hopes for success. There is no shortage of kindness and compassion from everyone I’ve interacted with at the clinic- from admin, staff, families, everyone!! Working with autistic kids is not for the faint of heart and I am so grateful for all of the support we were provided. Our daughter went to a large daycare center before TFL & I was happy to see that TFL operates somewhat like a daycare center, just with more supports and understanding. ABA was painted to me as a scary, strict, drab experience; our experience couldn’t have been more opposite. Therapy For Life is a genuinely fun place to be- even the weekly parent training meetings were a joy for me- and I could go on and on and on about how much I love this place. 10/10, 5stars, thumbs up!!!!
Therapy for Life has helped my children in more ways than I can say. One of my kids has been doing well that after a point, he was transitioned to their Bridge program, and we are now approaching school-readiness. I have another child who was completely non-verbal before starting; after a year, her vocabulary increased exponentially, and another year on top of that, she is speaking full sentences. It truly takes a village, and while we still have a ways to go, I am forever grateful for the time and dedication all the TFL staff have invested in my children.
They are saying it’s untrue but I attached the report below which clearly shows how that therapist hurt dear daughters arms. The picture will show what they sent me saying a therapist did this to Dear daughter’s arms. My custody case is over and has nothing to do with a therapist (a grown woman) hurting a small child, this is Not okay. But parents should be aware. The 1st picture they said it also had some marker on it. The report will show that therapist scratched her up like this because Dear daughter was running around and the therapist tried to stop her. My daughter has been bit twice, left naked in the bathroom unattended with her clothed soaked in the toilet (multiple times) she was brought to me with a bloody face and blood on her shirt, her mouth was cut inside pretty bad. These are only some of the things that have happened. There are more things that happened and I have pictures. Hopefully me posting this will make them pay attention to the kids because too many incidents have occurred and it is NOT okay. On the second day of the incident when I got my daughter she was pointing at all her marks saying “owey owey” *They originally said it was untrue but then they deleted their message which I saved and attached the picture as well. I do not trust this therapy center. They are also trying to change the original report to a different story. They can not change the original report which is what is attached to the pictures as well ( last picture shows their original message of them saying it was untrue as well)
This school is amazing-I get pictures and reports of my son through an app and I love the weekly parent training meetings and 1:1 time with my son’s BCBA-thank you Lauren. I feel the therapy teams work together and communicate with me regularly. I was happy to write this review to support the hard work of the therapists. The new school is awesome and I love the bright colors and cheerfulness! Pretty-pretty!
Therapy For Life was recommended by our pediatrician. My daughter had speech therapy since September and I’ve seen much improvement in a short time. Thanks to her therapists. The staff gives me reports about what they did in therapy and I have a formal meeting every month so I can hear progress. I like knowing my daughter’s goals and how to practice with her.
