Palmetto Mortuary was absolutely amazing taking care of us! Maggie was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. The grieving process is so hard and she made everything much easier when times were difficult. Her voice calmed the room and helped the process go very smoothly. She reminded us that her job was not to up charge us, but to take care of us and pay attention to our needs. Maggie is incredible! Highly recommend her for all of your needs.

Palmetto is really great and has many options for the deceased. For cremation, there are many urns to choose from, the prices are very good and they can store the urns for up to a year without additional cost until you find a permeant place for the ashes! The staff is very respectful and professional too. I would like to especially commend Raquel for her excellent service, professionalism and responsibility because she handled my father's ashes and urns with utmost respect and immediate service whenever we needed. She was always available when I call Palmetto and remembers us each time. She also quickly tends to our needs like shipping my father's urns and let us know all the updates along the way ASAP. She is just very professional and respectful to us, and we really appreciate that!

My father recently passed and I had the pleasure of using Palmetto Mortuary off of Mauldin Road. They did an amazing job with all of the details I requested and were very accommodating. David had such an attention to detail and was a pleasure to work with. His care for the preparations for my dad were evident, and I greatly appreciate that! Highly recommend their services as they made this difficult transition so much easier.

I live out of state and when my mom passed on January 4, 2026, my nephew recommended that she be sent to Palmetto Mortuary in Spartanburg, SC. He said they did a phenomenal job with my niece, (his sister), when she passed away a few years back. His family had also just sent his mother, (my sister), to be taken care of by Palmetto Mortuary and everything again was handled perfectly by them. I cannot say enough great things about how they have helped me in handling a very difficult situation that came up with trying to complete my mother’s wishes from hundreds of miles away. The compassion, kindness and willingness to go the extra mile was so unbelievable. A young lady there, Heather, has been extremely instrumental in helping me get through a very emotional and stressful time. I know my mom has been handled and taken care extremely well while in their care. For that I will always be thankful. If I were to move to South Carolina, they would be the place I would select again to take care of all my family needs in the future. Absolutely amazing. Thank you Palmetto 😊

Raquel is very sweet. She helped us with the process of my mother funeral & answered any questions we had. Steve was also our direction and he was also very kind & helpful. Everyone here was always sweet & welcoming & helped us with the steps for my mother’s viewing & funeral.
