I would give this club five stars but something has happened recently that is not the fault of the staff here, but of you “corporate” Planet Fitness. After adding equipment to the gym, the space you have given between smith machines is unreasonable and unmanageable. I cannot safely add weights to the bar because the bar from the machine next to me is too close. You had plenty of room to spread these out to be manageable. Now I have a bruise on my right arm and right thigh from two separate incidents where I tried changing the weights and hit myself on the other bar. I have also strained my back putting weights on sideways. There is no excuse for this. The staff onsite said they cannot move the equipment. Someone from corporate needed to do it. Well I toured the Crunch Fitness that is closer to my house and they have plenty of room in between machines and equipment. I really like this PF and the staff are great but I will not continue to hurt myself to work out on your machines due to your incompetence. Please fix this. Spread them out. It is a safety issue. UPDATE- Apparently I can not respond to the reply from "Owner" but if you had actually read my review, you would see that the staff at this location said they cannot move machines and that I should post a review so that corporate would see this. I don't know who you mean by "Management", nor do I know who you are as "Owner" but the utter lack of concern regarding a safety issue in your response is very telling. Here is an idea....why don't YOU reach out to the management team and YOU get it fixed instead of ME doing your job for YOU. I don't work for Planet Fitness.

I dislike Planet fitnesses got rid of the 30 minute exercise room, because people were just hanging out in that room. Now they did put a wide selection of equipment which is good. Up North had more than the planet fitnesses here in the South and now its about the same since the 30 minute room is gone. It would also be nice if there were mirrors on the backs of the tanning room doors so we can make sure we are presentable while walking out. This gym is not the cleanest. Tanning beds aren't getting cleaned down, but employees nor customers. I see people not wiping down equipment. So beware.

Let me first start by saying that this review is in no way about this ONE particular facility, but planet fitness as a whole. First issue: this $15 late fee is CRAP! Since everyone needs an explanation these days here goes….bc of previous fraud activity with my previous bank of 10 years I stay on alert with my banking which includes keeping my accounts locked unless in use. My banking will usually let recurring payments process, but since I had gotten referral rewards upon signing up, I didn’t have to make a payment for a couple of months and the bank didn’t recognize the payment so it declined it. I went into the app to try to process payment after getting in touch with the bank and unlocking everything and it won’t allow me to make the payment and says a payment is processing so idk why they even have the option to let you retry the payment. And bc of things like protecting my account I’m charged $40 instead of $25. And since I run my own business I get that there are processing fees for cards and such, BUT $15.00?!?!? Issue #2: I have been tanning for over 10 years and I’ve NEVER been rushed so much when tanning(tanning for me is for relaxing and having my 12 minutes alone and if you’re a wife and mom, those MINUTES can feel like hours of relaxing lol) but twice, I have had an employee knocking on my door literally two minutes after the bed goes off like I’m not getting dressed fast enough but what they don’t seem to know is I clean my bed before and AFTER I tan which is common courtesy for the next person, or so I thought 🤦🏻‍♀️ but still I pay for a membership just like everyone else, I shouldn’t feel rushed, especially when i got the membership mainly just for tanning! Issue #3: the customer service with SOME of the employees is TERRIBLE!!!! Upon walking in it’s not “hey how can I help you today?” Instead, I’m greeted with rolling eyes and attitude like I’m bothering someone when I tell them I need to tan! So, as much as I love the benefits planet fitness has to offer(although it would be great if they offered child care like my last gym did, but we can’t win them all can we lol), I’m seriously leaning towards finding a membership elsewhere because if I am paying for a membership, even if only to tan I should be treated like every other member!

I really enjoy the gym itself and I’m there at least 4 days a week. It’s always clean and has good machines. However, every time I’m walking in or out the staff is looking down at their phone not even acknowledging you which is awkward or have an attitude. If you fixed that this place would have 5 stars from me.

This gym has all the machines and weights that I need. There are enough machines and equipment to be able to easily get a workout in even during high volume hours. The staff have been helpful with any questions I have had. Good vibes at this gym
