My 13 yr old daughter at the time broke her ankle while playing volleyball in 3 different places. We went to 2 different specialists in the Houston area that told us point blank that they couldn't perform surgery on my child as it was very complicated. I was devastated as my child was in excruciating pain. We found Dr. Nurudeen at Bayou City Foot and Ankle Specialists. From the beginning his staff was welcoming. They made my child feel at home. From the jokes they cracked to her in the examination room from mainly Yahir to the Motherly comfort Ms. Banks shared with my child , I knew my child was in good hands. ..and then there was the Doctor.... He was Confident. Reassuring. Smart....and somewhat witty .. Dr. Nurudeen did an emaculate job on my 13 yr old and made us both feel comfortable about the surgery post op..during op..and pre op. This man is intelligent and I Truly Recommend him for any surgery regarding feet or ankles. Thank you all for making us feel at home for the past 7 months ๐ THANK YOU to the Staff and Dr Nurudeen. We Will Always Be Grateful ๐๐พ God Bless ๐๐พ ๐๐พ
This was one of the worst medical experiences Iโve ever had. The level of negligence and complete lack of care after my Achilles surgery was beyond unacceptable. I was left dealing with complications that should have been caught and addressed early, and instead it got so bad I was genuinely at risk of losing my leg. There was zero urgency, zero accountability, and absolutely no compassion throughout the process. I would strongly urge anyone to stay far away from this doctor and this practice. Your health is not taken seriously here, and the consequences can be severe. This is not just poor service, itโs dangerous. Eventually I went to a full orthopedic doctor at UT Physicians that saved my leg.
Best foot doctor I have had in years. She cares about her patients takes time to explain how to take care of my feet. Friendly comfortable environment makes you feel that they care.
Dr. Ho and his whole staff were prompt, gave me the time I felt I needed and I never felt rushed. He sat there and explained in detail his honest professional diagnosis. He made a referral and I honestly trust he cares about whatโs causing my problem and how to fix it. Iโm over the medications everyday I take to mask the pain and he is on the same page as me. Iโm blessed to have found him.
I would not recommend anyone to this "foot" doctor Dr Sum. This was my second time making an appointment. The first time, it was so many people that they "overbooked" and couldn't stay for the time that they set for me. The second time, they got me in but I still waited quite a while before being seen at the end of the day. It seems to me she probably was tired from all the other people she's seen ahead of me she only spent maybe 15? minutes (a new patient) when I finally got in there she barely examined or looked at my feet, even though, I was explaining it to her my issues and showed her on her chart the symptoms of neuropathy and what I was I was experiencing, and was in pain when I walked in. The only thing she recommended is a "pill" gabapentin which I told her about my concerns of its side effects. I'm not sure about taking them along with her pointing to some little ugly shoes that she gave no further instructions about the proper soles to support the shoe. I walked out disappointed because I'd wasted my money and my time on someone just wanting to give you a pill and get paid $150. They didn't want me to give a review they could have given me my money back and send me on my way but I'm going to give a review. Again for me it was a waste of time and no real solution... a pill...and after walking out suggesting an injection of which I declined.
