Today I had my first visit with Dr Sum and I left the clinic completely in awe. I had a ingrown nail that I have been struggling with for months and had no success. She took care of it in literally 2 minutes, I had an entire nail buried deep within my big toe. She was done with the procedure before I could even react. She is very professional, lightning fast, and more than everything very kind. I definitely recommend visiting this clinic for all of your foot needs.

Dr. Sum is amazing. Not only did she schedule my appointment herself when I called one evening, she even took the time to answer all of my questions. She removed my ingrown toenails quickly and talked me through the painful part as if we were old friends (I had an infection, otherwise it would have been minimal pain). It’s been 2 weeks since then, I just had a follow up and all has healed with no issues. Very hands on, patient, professional, and efficient. Highly recommended.

Efficient and quick service with a very knowledgeable, conscientious and detail orientated Doctor. We live in Spring Branch and came here because they were one of the few podiatrists able to see my son on short notice on a Saturday. Couldn’t be happier and will be back.

Went in today because my ingrown toe nail became infected. Doctor Sum looked at my other big toe and told me that she could correct my nail so it would grow straight. I had a previous ingrown removed by a different doctor and had an recurring issue with a part of my nail growing straight up that would snag on my socks. She explained why my nail grew that way and offered me a discount if I did both toes. The infected toe still had some pain even after the injection, she explained that waiting to long to have it taken care of was a reason why the injection didn't numb my toe all the way because of the infection. It made complete since especially because she numbed my non-infected toe and and cut out both sides and I felt nothing. I just grinned and bared it. Not even an hour later I had gone home and change my dressings and that pain was at bare minimum enough to be able to put my shoes back on and not have to deal with the weird gant I had to endure all week which was greatly effecting my balance. So long story short. Take care of your feet!! My parents taught me this at a young age. Yes I might hurt to have the nail cut or removed but only temporary. Don't wait, an infection can not only be painful, but can lead to possibly other issues. I'm glad I went. Co-workers were surprised when they realized I had the job done today. Hardly any pain and hour after, highly recommended
