⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend Texas Ankle & Foot Specialists, especially Dr. Applegate. He is extremely thorough and truly takes the time to listen to his patients and explain everything clearly. You never feel rushed during your visit, which is rare these days. It’s also very noticeable how well he treats his staff—everyone in the office is friendly and professional, which makes for a great overall experience. While there can sometimes be a bit of a wait, it’s absolutely worth it because of the level of care you receive. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate foot specialist, Dr. Applegate is the one to see.

Dr. David Applegate was very kind, courteous, and professional. He explained my mother's outpatient procedure clearly and thoroughly, making sure she understood everything and felt comfortable. We especially appreciated that he even spoke a little Spanish to help communicate with her. His compassionate care and attention to detail made the entire experience much easier and less stressful. We highly recommend him to anyone seeking excellent foot care.

Dr. Applegate is personable, attentive and direct. It was my first visit and I came out with a very positive impression. Didn’t have to wait long to be seen by the doctor which is a plus. His staff was also professional and attentive. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back and recommend Dr. Applegate for members of my family and friends. I’ve seen three podiatrists in the past couple of years and I wouldn’t recommend any of the previous two., Dr. Applegate is a decent person and his professionalism is superb

I saw another doctor in the area two days after injuring my foot. They told me that surgery was an option and that if I was their sister they would tell me to get it. I told them to go ahead and schedule it for three days later. I sent the x-rays to my son-in-law who works with trauma surgeons in another state and he passed them along. The advice from that doctor was that I did not need surgery. I felt like I needed another in person opinion as soon as possible before moving forward. I called the office first thing in the morning and although nothing was available in Katy I got an appointment for a couple of hours later in Sugarland. They said that they would let me know if anyone canceled at the Katy office. I was pleasantly surprised and thankful when they called back not too long after and told me that an appointment had opened up. I saw Dr Bridges, who is very knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. She made my husband and I very comfortable in our decision to go the conservative route without surgery.
