Campbell is a maestro of his craft. He has a rare ability to hear the complex notes of dissonance that he is presented with and respond in ways that not only help ease the discord but help two hurt people regain a sense of their potential as a couple. I can honestly say that without his insight, support, guidance and attentiveness, that my marriage would not have survived. It is one thing to be able to introduce his clients to the excellent Gottman approach to a relationship, but it is quite something else to move two very different people, at the same time, through their push and pull to a place of potential harmony. And part of the beauty of what he does, it that his finite presence is resounding. Because "What would Campbell suggest" will be a common note as we continue to practise and learn how to be better partners.

I 100% recommend seeing Campbell if you have relationship challenges. Campbell gained so much insight into each of us and individuals first. He acknowledged we each have needs, wants, habits and a lifetime of baggage. When bringing our past together into a new relationship, there is no RIGHT or WRONG. There is no Winning or Loosing. To be a couple, we each need to be a satisfied individual. Campbell's Gotman Program has clear guidelines how to achieve this and to turn our "Disaster" into a "Master" relationship. The Gottman principles are not rocket science. They are in fact, pretty basic. Campbell helped us put a name on feelings, habits and rituals. Even though these sessions have been very recent, it feels so refreshing and empowering, that instead of our next step being away from each other, it looks like we are already starting to turn toward each other. Thank-You Campbell, You literally are a relationship saver. I am excited to move forwarshune

I have been having sessions with Clinical Psychologist, Campbell Townsend for close to a year now, and I can honestly say that he has been an invaluable source of support and guidance for me. His calm demeanour and caring nature creates a safe and welcoming space for me to explore my thoughts and feelings, without judgment. Campbell has an impressive range of knowledge and expertise in various therapeutic approaches, including IFS, ACT, Mindfulness, EMDR, among others. I appreciate that Campbell has tailored his approach to meet my individual needs and preferences, and that he explains the rationale behind the techniques he uses. What I value most about working with Campbell, is how incredibly heard and understood he makes me feel. Campbell actively listens to me and validates my experiences, which has helped me gain a greater sense of self-awareness and acceptance. Overall, I highly recommend Campbell to anyone seeking a compassionate and highly skilled therapist who can provide effective, holistic and person-centred support for mental and emotional wellbeing.
