I’ve heard all about how Publix has the best subs; however, I absolutely hate going to the sub station at the new Publix on Barfield. Incredibly unfriendly workers who act like I am bothering them when I show up to order. It’s not like there was a line; I was the only one in it. My orders are very simple. This has happened twice now. I’ll try another Publix next time to see if this is a company-wide problem. I won’t be returning to the Barfield Publix sub station.
Store was very clean and well stocked. Everyone was nice and helpful in getting just what we needed for our trip
I just called in to check stock on "Happy Eggs" which were completely out of stock during the BOGO sale a few weeks back (I got a raincheck). Samantha in Customer Service was VERY helpful, going the extra mile to lay eyes on stock and even putting aside my requested amount so that they'd be there when I come to pick up later today. Rarely do we see this level of Customer care in any industry, so I really appreciate when someone goes the extra mile to please a customer like me. Thanks, Samantha!
While trying to order deli meat at the deli, I observed the workers not changing their gloves when leaving their station to go in the back to get more meats and then using the slicer. The slicer were dirty, when I asked the man to clean the slicer before cutting my meat, he said they are cleaned every 4 hours, so they don't need to be even wiped down. I am allergic to turkey and the machine was filled with meat scraps. All the machines were filthy. The deli manager just laughed when I told him and acted as "what do you want me to do" I tried to get a store manager but they sayed he went home. I won't be shopping at that deli again.
Waited 20 mins for 1 sub on my 30 min lunch break. Guy in front made 3 separate orders one at a time. Looked like a seasonal visitor with all time in the world and didnt seem care he created a line behind him 12 people long. Somone should tell him about online ordering ahead.They marked sub $11.06 instead $7.99 then I found the bread was stale and falling apart. They have a bakery and shouldnt be selling stale bread
