As a candidate recently with Talance, Larry Frishberg was absolutely fantastic during the 5-6 weeks of interviewing with this one particular company in Houston. One of the best candidate experiences I've had in a long time and I've worked with plenty of good and plenty of not so great recruiters over the years. Larry was exceptional for me and went to bat for me every step of the way and represented me exactly the way a great recruiter would. If you are Larry's boss reading this review, I'd like to recommend him for a raise whenever possible :). Of course, I write this review as a very happy candidate who has landed an even better job than he had before Larry and Talance came along, but still, I'm very grateful and appreciative. Larry was communicative every step of the way, and even gave smaller updates whenever he could. I want to emphasize that in particular, because sometimes when recruiters work with candidates it's like they forget the fundamentals of recruiting. To me, that includes keeping candidates updated even if it's a small update. The small updates (as well as the bigger updates) keep candidates like me from going insane during the job search process! Thanks a lot Larry, and thanks a lot to the Talance Group for this new opportunity that'll allow me to provide a lot better for my (growing) family of 4. Lastly, I will say that I was very well prepped (and even overprepped, which is honestly not a bad thing) for each round from Larry and the folks at Talance. I didn't go into any round feeling like I was blindsided or underprepared and that goes a long way to putting my best foot forward for interviews.

Talance Group provided excellent service in helping me find my next position. They were amazing with prep and talking through how to answer difficult questions. While I felt I had enough experience with interviewing, after going through the process I appreciated the thoroughness of the pre-interview conversation which helped me ask better questions. I can’t say enough great things about this company. During my search for a new job, I learned a lot—and not all of it was positive. I lost count of how many Teams meetings and calls I had that seemed promising, only to end with no follow-up or communication from recruiters.
