Finally made it to Buccan and now I understand why people rave about it. We shared the tuna crisps, steak tartare, smoky baba ganoush, short rib empanadas, hot dog panini, sweet corn agnolotti, and the wood-grilled half chicken. Honestly, there wasn't a bad dish on the table. The tuna crisps were addictive, the short rib empanadas were packed with flavor, and the sweet corn agnolotti was so good we were talking about it long after dinner. Even the hot dog panini, which sounds a little odd on paper, totally lived up to the hype. The cocktails were excellent too. The Passionate One cocktail and the Mango Ginger Margarita were both fantastic and paired perfectly with the food. Great food, great drinks, and a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

Buccan is a wonderful tapas-style restaurant perfect for a large gathering! We had a great meal and experience here. The ambiance was dark and lively. Most of the groups were 4+ people, not many 2 person tables. They seem to cater to larger parties. It was on the noisier side as well. We started with the passionate one cocktail. Didn’t knock my socks off, but it was tasty. I liked the foam on top. We then had the tuna crisps, which were fresh and come on wontons for a nice crispy bite. The empanadas and carrots really stole the show for us. The empanadas had the perfect golden crust and filled with short rib. Topped with a tomato salsa that added a hint of acidity. The carrot salad was so unique, never had any like it before. Each bite built on top of the next, with different flavors coming through. The sweet corn agnolotti (the half portion, perfect for 2 people) was like pillowy pockets of heaven. Buttery, creamy and one of their most popular dishes for a reason. We then finished with the sea salt chocolate chip cookies. They were baked fresh to order - so gooey. They tasted even better the next day! Daniel was our server and he was so attentive, funny and coursed out our dinner well. We had a lovely time and would absolutely come back in the future!

Absolutely lived up to the hype. Every single thing we ordered was so good — no misses. The tuna crisps, hot dog panini, and short rib empanadas were standout starters. The sweet corn agnolotti was unreal and tbh one of those dishes you keep thinking about after. Cocktails were on point (old fashioned + watermelon martini 👌), and the banana foster dessert was the perfect finish. Vibe is fun, energetic, and a little scene-y but still feels elevated. Definitely planning another version sit soon…

I love Buccan. It is one of the best restaurants in West Palm Beach. I’ve only been here once, and ever since then, I’ve been dreaming of coming back. I wish they would open another restaurant in Central Florida or even North Florida. The restaurant is pretty busy, but I had reservations. Our server was nice, friendly, and professional. He timed our courses wonderfully and he kept a good attitude the whole time. We started off with the short rib empanadas. At $8 a piece, they’re pretty expensive, but they were sooo delicious and worth it. They were flavored sooo well and filled to the brim. Then we had the Lion’s Mane mushrooms, and these were also really great!!! I love the taste. We also enjoyed the duck confit with scallion pancakes. These were a bit toooo salty for our liking, but the flavor was still wonderful. I wouldn’t get it again, but I loved the crispy scallion pancakes. For our entrée, we ordered the squid ink orecchiette. This features Italian sausage, conch, basil, and chile. It was super, super good! Oh my gosh. I’m usually a “pasta is overrated” kind of person, but this far exceeded my expectations, and it was genuinely so yummy. For dessert, we ordered three things: the key lime tart, the banana fosters butter cake, and the blueberry yuzu cheesecake. Full transparency, I did not like the key lime tart or the blueberry yuzu cheesecake. The desserts all looked very pretty, but those two were just too sour—to the point of inedibility. But the banana fosters butter cake? One of the BEST desserts ever. It was SOOO good. I could eat that every day. Everything about it is pure perfection and so wonderful. 1000/10 for this dish.

Buccan was highly recommended and it lived up to the hype. Very good food and lively upscale atmosphere. First of all, get a reservation. Place is packed. You arrive and there’s a line at the door of people with reservations. It’s loud, crowd is dressed up, and super active. Food is very good - but not as excellent as it used to be. Possible the crazy pace night after night has taken food down a notch. Highly recommend the tuna and steak tartare appetizers. Both excellent. For main - the short rib was the highlight. We were disappointed with the yellow snapper and Agnolotti pasta. Service was good but not super friendly. Overall good experience and recommend - reservation a must.
