Arrived this morning and got my X-ray plus results and soft casting by this wonderful staff here. Thanks for ensuring my comfortability during this time, best of luck and well wishes.
Went in yesterday afternoon for an infected tooth that needed antibiotics & painkillers. The “DR” write me 2 scripts. Antibiotics & a Narcotic Pain Reliever. I left & went to fill them. The pharmacist said my “DR” was an FNP (I then saw her signature on said scripts) & said she did NOT have clearance to write me a prescription for hydrocodone. That only a Dr could prescribe those to me. So I had to drive BACK to urgent care. Get a different script for Tylenol3s. I go BACK to the pharmacy. Only for them to tell me that now they are missing some initials AND a DEA# I HAD TO DRIVE BACK A THIRD DAMN TIME TO GET THE “correct” PRESCRIPTION!!! This was an absurd waste of my time & money. And all these trips were made during 5oclock traffic. Are y’all gonna reimburse me for a $120 visit spent when I had to come back MULTIPLE TIMES TO FIX YALLS MISTAKE??? Doubt it. So I am out my own time & gas$. Worst urgent care visit of my entire life. Will NEVER recommend. My moms been using yall for 20yrs & told me to go see yall & now she will not be going anymore either. Shame on yall for such sloppy, disorganized, & unprofessional service. I spent my own extra gas money & time to fix YALLS mistakes. Ridiculous. Took almost 5hrs in total to get the script situation handled & get home after all the trips back & forth. Smh.
Though it was a Sunday following a holiday and short staffed I would say. Me and my son was still treated with care and patience. They didn’t rush and they weren’t moving too slow either they moved at a pace that was sufficient for the patients.the place was clean and i watched them care for themselves as well with the PPE protocol. There were other patients there and we didn’t have to wait long because they obviously had a plan and everything flowed and went as a normal routine. I have tried other urgent cares the ones with what some may call the bigger names which didn’t mean anything because I didn’t get treated with care as me and my family does at BRAZOS. This is my go to place when we can’t get to our regular doctor. I’ll choose this place every time. I’ve never been let down.
Couldn’t get in to see my PCP on a Friday but was able to quickly schedule with Brazos. Not my first visit. There is always availability and it’s a quick in and out when I need it. Super close to home too.
I was a walk in. Maybe it was because of the freezing weather, but I was the 2nd in line waiting for the doctor. She was nice and friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. Wait time, diagnosis, and treatment all took about an hour. Pretty great I'd say.
