My mother looked absolutely beautiful—she truly looked like herself before she became ill. The team made an incredibly difficult and emotional process feel seamless and as stress-free as possible. Every request, even the smallest details, was handled with genuine care and flawless execution. From beginning to end, the staff was kind, professional, and highly knowledgeable. Their compassion and attention to detail meant so much to our family during this time. I am deeply grateful for the support provided and for helping us create such a meaningful and memorable celebration of my mother’s life.

I live out of state, but am here to bury my youngest sister. She had chosen Wilson and had made her own arrangements. The only thing I needed to do was tie up some loose ends. When I say Wilson has gone above and beyond in providing the utmost in professionalism, courtesy, compassion, empathy and sympathy during this process, I am amazed and grateful. This is one of the most difficult things I have had to do, and they have walked with me every step of the way. I probably got on their nerves calling with so many questions, but I was always told it was not a problem. I wholeheartedly recommend Wilson Funeral Home to provide loving care in the final chapter of a loved one’s life. Kudos to Mrs. Patricia and Mrs. Magruder!!!

I entrusted Wilson Funeral Home with the services for my brother, Darrell Williams, who transitioned on December 30, 2025. From the very first call, I spoke with the director, Mr. Bright, and informed him of my brother’s passing and my wish for Wilson Funeral Home to provide his care and services. As always, Mr. Bright was extremely professional, compassionate, and attentive. He informed me of every step that needed to be taken once my brother’s body arrived at Wilson Funeral Home. I received a call from Mr. Bright with the date and time to meet and begin making arrangements, and throughout the entire process, he showed genuine care and concern for my family. Mr. Bright went over every detail thoroughly—from selecting the programs, casket, colors, and casket gauge, to explaining when clothing needed to be dropped off and when photos for the programs were due. He also clearly explained all payment details. Every step was handled with patience, kindness, and professionalism. Although this was a very difficult time for our family, the staff at Wilson Funeral Home made the experience as comfortable and easy as possible. You couldn’t ask for a better team. It was an extreme pleasure working with all the professionals of this funeral home. The experience of planning the services of a loved one first requires you to face the reality that the person you loved has transitioned. For me, the loss of my mom was very difficult, and everyone I encountered at Wilson was empathetic, caring and polished. From contacting them to notify them of my mom's passing, to the planning of the services, to the actual day of the service and then the driver bringing me home following the service was brilliant. Ms. Paulette in the office was warm and very helpful for anything I needed. Wilson's has been in pillar in the community since I was a little kid, and their quality of service has not aged; they keep the family's need and the dignity of the deceased a priority. Thank you for making my difficult time easier by just the care, concern and professionalism you provided.
